There are plenty of 'You know you're obsessed with ....' lists out there and .... well, unless there is someone insane enough to actually do ALL of the things listed, I believe that those lists are all made up by fans like me. ^.^ Not like I have any complaints or anything. ^.^
Wanna see a list of what I -really- do? Or did? Believe it or not, the following are true stories. It might be my hopelessness, it might be Kurama's spirit taking over ... or maybe I'm just one big Baka, but ... Awheck, here goes. ^.^

Hotel KFurama

Let's start with my graduation dinner. It was a little celebration for us students who were graduating from high school and thanking the teachers for their support and guidance throughout the years. We were holding the dinner/party at a hotel. Hotel Furama to be exact.
And you might have guessed... 9 times out of 10 I would go "HEY! We're going to Hotel KURAMA for our graduation dinner!" Those who knew me and about my hopeless obession would just fall into fits of laughter until I finally realized what I'd just said and slapped them on the back. Others would just give me The Odd Look (tm).
Do you even want to know what happened when the school passed around the 'Map of Hotel Furama'? No duh, it became the famous 'Map of Kurama' among the Baka friends of mine. Featured on the map was "Kurama's Circulation", "Kurama's Chambers, Rooms and Ballrooms" and of course, "Heart of Kurama". To the more twisted ones, there was the "Map Around Kurama" ... which included some stuff I refuse to put on here to save the world's sanity.
Oh great, now I can't even spell Furama right without thinking twice or typing KURAMA at first. Even more, the poor Hotel's name has changed ever since my little 'mistake'. My friends would point to the Hotel and go "LOOK! Hotel Kurama!" whenever we pass by. We're even reading the name wrong. I don't think 'Furama' is a Japanese name so it should be read AS IS, with the "RRR" sound as in "ROW", and not the "LLL" sound like in "Ku-La-Ma".
I feel sorry for the owner of Furama Hotel and Resorts. But if I have the time, I might become a daily bypasser of the "Furama Florist".

 

In Love With A Mountain

I do research... I really do. And believe it or not ... or alright, you might already know this, but there's a Mount Kurama somewhere in Japan. Happy, happy! I'll have to drop by someday! And now you come to me telling me that their Kanji aren't the same. So what?!
Oh good, if I ever talk about my love life with a geography student who never watched or heard of Yu Yu Hakusho in their life, they'll probably think I'm in love with a mountain.

 

Can't Get Enough Of His Name

That's right. His name is always floating around in my head. There's been countless times that I've mistaken something for his name. Like what? Obviously FURAMA had been very difficult. Then there was Karma.
I was happily listening to the lovely song known as 'Affirmation' by Savage Garden when suddenly the word 'Kurama' popped out. Wait... Kurama? In Savage Garden's song? You gotta be kidding. So I went back and listened to that part again. Ooh... so it was Karma. My wrong.
"I believe in Kurama what you give is what you get returned...."

And next ... THIS, I swear I'd be really scared if it was real.
My friend and I were wandering around and somehow talking about a certain Pokemon called Ditto. (Don't ask me why ... I don't watch much Pokemon. =P) Ah yes! It was very hot that day and we were about to 'melt' ... and thus turn into the blob known as Ditto. She started telling me how Ditto ... er.. speaks? Sounds like? (*sweatdrop*) And here's what happened:
She: And it goes "mama ... mama..." all the time.
Me: *wasn't really paying attention..... BUT suddenly turns around, eyes wide and ..* It goes ... what?
She: *confused* Mama mama?
Me: Want to know what I heard?
She: Sure .....
Me: ... kurama ... kurama ...
She: *sweatdrops* (No seriously... =P)
This soon became my "call". ^.~ "Kurama! Kurama!" Yeah ~~

 

Mrs Minamino - I just got married?!

No, I'm not talking about Shuuichi-chan's mother. I'm talking about .... ME! *ducks from all the raw garbage and debris* Hey! I thought I said it in the disclaimers part that none of this is official! Don't kill me ... c'mon, I'm sure a lot of you out there claim to be Mrs. Kurama, Kurama no or something. *ducks again*
Okay, I got a little lost there again, where was I? Ah yes, Mrs Minamino. Well, it's become a habit for me to tell people that my surname happens to be Minamino. Why? Oh YOU KNOW WHY! No? Sorry. :P For ANY online thing I have to register, I always give "Minamino" as my surname. Among my friends, I'm known as "Mrs. Kurama" or "Mrs Minamino" or "Kurama no Hime". (Hey! I did register for the Hime list!)
And now, whenever people come to me for surveys or stuff, I automatically WANT to tell them my last name's Minamino. Well, sometimes I do, sometimes I don't ... it really depends.
But the first time it happened ... it was a mere accident. I just hopped off the bus from work with "Koori no NAIFU o Daite" (Kurama's image song) playing on my discman. This person came up to me and asked me to do a survey on entertainment and stuff and I agreed, since I had nothing better to do anyway. After we were through, she asked for my first name... which I gave quickly and without much problem. Then last name... I blurted out "Mi--" at first before giving my real last name. Boy, I bet she found me weird. ^.~
Hm... maybe I got married to Kurama ... not like I'm complaining or anything. ^.~

 

Law of Relativity... It doesn't apply properly for me.

I'm sorry, Mr Einstein, but for me, everything's related to Kurama in some way.
Plants? Do I have to say more?
Biology? Oh c'mon ...
Foxes? How dare you even ask!
Kiss From A Rose? .... *drool* I wonder if my non-anime-watcher friends who saw me laughing like crazy after listening/singing to Kiss From a Rose would ever find out what the hell's wrong with me.
Red -- Nanase Aikawa's CD? Red... that's Kurama's hair color!
Omi Tsukiyono's Cross Earring?! Yes! Kurama wore an earring before! I have to find that particular picture ... or I'll just GO BUY a hard copy and scan it!
I'm dying my hair red!! No, mommy, don't kill me!
And basically, all anime characters that I like after Kurama have something to do with him. ^.~ (no wonder I started to like Tatara from Fushigi Yuugi... )

 

Can't Read Chinese, But Will Learn For Him.

I'm from Hong Kong alright, but trust me, I can't read a lot of Chinese. But! I'm learning! I'm learning! I even BOUGHT a book which was in CHINESE just for Kurama. Really, I don't read Chinese books 'sides for manga ....
Why? In a particular epsiode in Yu Yu Hakusho ... hm, right before Yuusuke got 'captured' by those people with 'supernatural powers' ... there's this scene with Kurama at school reading a BOOK when 2 of his classmates came to him. Ring a bell? Or simply think of the part where we SEE he got 1st in the entire year. Got it? No? That's your problem.
Back to the book. That BOOK he was reading was a famous one by a ... famous author! *DUCKS* I'm sorry, but I don't know the author's name nor the book's name in Japanese. ^^;;;
